Camelot Be a good neighbor wish list
Within the next 3 years, we have 4 action items that we would wish each neighbor completes for our community:
- Mailboxes: We would like more uniformity in our community and our mailboxes. We will be asking all homeowners to get a weatherproof white base with a weather proof white mailbox.
- Lamp posts: Everyone should have a lamp post in their yard. We recommend everyone meet that requirement in the next 3 years for safety purposes.
- Trees in treelawn: Over the past 7 years, there have been several trees that have died in the tree lawns. It is the homeowners responsibility to replace the tree with a new one.
- Sidewalk leveling: We are asking that if your sidewalk is not level, you take the action to make it level to avoid accidents that could happen due to uneven sidewalks. Technically speaking this is the homeowners responsibility. We are trying to find group solutions for our neighborhood. Feel free to take action on your property or reach out for help. We don't want to see accidents in the area.
After 3 years, we will look to inforce these mandates which could include having it done for you and billing you as part of your fee.
Retention pond erosion. We are still looking hard at fixing the city mandated erosion issue with our retention ponds. We are hoping to do a rock wall, which will not only meet the erosion problem but will also look beautiful.
Please do your best to keep your landscaping and your yard looking good for you and your neighbors. If you need help, reach out.
Thank you for all that you do to make this community great. The value of this community has gone nothing but up. When in doubt, clean it up and be a good neighbor.
